Onchan commissioners say they're hoping to provide a new recycling site after closing a station in Port Jack.
The site, which had run since 2013, had attracted complaints about safety, as wagons had to park near a blind bend.
It closed to the public last month.
However, the local authority says it's designing a nearby replacement bring bank site and will improve existing sites at Birch Hill, Ballachrink Drive, Onchan Park, and the HUB.
