A new facility to help get inmates ready for work has officially been opened at the prison.
The Ellan Vannin Skills Centre will provide training in skills like bricklaying, plumbing and plastering.
Officials say it aims to help rehabilitation by improving confidence and preparing prisoners for employment.
The government says local businesses are already showing a lot of interest in working with the skills centre.
