King William's College has appointed a new principal following the resignation of the man in charge of the school.
Joss Buchanan has been appointed into the role - he takes over from predecessor Martin Humphreys.
In a statement from the college it says Mr Humphreys has resigned following the death of his wife Francesca in October.
He'd been on compassionate leave since March - during that time Mr Buchanan acted as acting principal.
He's described it as a 'huge privilege' to be asked to permanently lead the college.
