The owners of the Ballacallin Hotel in Dalby have applied for permission to build a replacement house on the site.
The hotel closed in 2008, and was destroyed by a huge fire in February.
Now, its owners have submitted proposals to build a new home on the site, saying it will fall within the hotel's footprint.
In the application, they say they don't need to make any changes to the gateway access.
