The Department of Health have launched a new website geared toward promoting ‘self care’.
The Health-e Directory has been branded as a ‘one stop shop’ offering help, support and advice available to the public on self care and keeping healthy.
It’s been developed over the last year as a key part of the Department’s ten year strategy.
Although they are not wanting to encourage self diagnosis it is also hoped that it could reduce the strain on front line medical staff.
We asked Minister David Anderson if he’s hopeful people will utilise the website:
