Two new laser clay pigeon shooting venues could be coming to the Island, if plans are given the green light.
Grenaby Estates has applied to create the facilities at Grennaby Mooar and at Ballacooiley in Ballaugh on non-agricultural land at both locations.
In the applications, those behind the plans say both, if approved, would cater for private bookings and events for smaller groups and individuals, with opening hours dependent on demand.
They add the laserguns used would be harmless and don't damage the environment and so is suitable for all ages, and can be adapted thanks to a SMART Indoor System to be used in most indoor locations.
