A former children's home has been named as the new rehabilitation facility for offenders.
Tromode House has been refurbished and will be able to accommodate up to 12 residents and offer an expanded rehabilitation programme directly run by the probation service.
It will open in the autumn and replace the bail hostel at David Gray House which is run by the Salvation Army with officials thanking the organisation for its commitment in a successful partnership.
Home Affairs Minister, Bill Malarkey MHK, says it will be an appropriate setting for offenders to live in whilst under supervision or reintegrating back into society.
