A new initiative is being started to offer assistance to hotel guests in case of an emergency.
Lions Club IOM presented the Islands fire service with door hangers for hotels and guest houses that can be put on room doors by customers to let authorities know if they need support if an incident occurs.
Fire safety team officers will be handing them out to businesses whilst they carry out routine inspections and some will be available at the fire service headquarters on Tromode Road.
The scheme runs alongside the Lions Club 'Message In A Bottle' which gives medical information to attending emergency services.
