The new infrastructure minister says one of his first priorities will be to pause the rollout of 20mph schemes across the Island.
Peel and Glenfaba MHK Tim Crookall's replaced Rushen member Michelle Haywood in the post as part of today's cabinet reshuffle, Monday, January 19.
Chief Minister Alf Cannan announced he asked Dr Haywood to resign because of how her department was handling the speed limit initiative, and controversy over the Local Government Bill.
Mr Crookall also says he'll aim to reset the relationship with local authorities by taking stock of that legislation and the waste strategy.
