A new 'Green Restaurant' could be coming to the south of the Island, subject to planning approval.
Dr John Taylor has submitted plans to turn the Gatekeepers Cottage in Ballasalla into a restaurant, with a focus on green energy.
The site would be accessible on foot, by car, bicycle or train, after discussions with the Steam Railway Authority about a new platform for train visitors.
