A Local business owner is angry at the Government's new planning permission rule, saying sheds can't be within 1 metre of a house.
Last week, changes were made to The Town and Country Planning Order, scrapping the need for planning permission for small home improvements, but an addition to the order says sheds can't be within 1 metre of a house or boundary.
Owner of Manx Quality Sheds Karl Gartland says the change will have 'significant consequences' for his business and will prevent him from completing jobs.
Karl adds the change will impact his clients, as sheds are built down the sides of houses to maximise space, but this now won't fall into the new rule.
