The Chief Minister has defended a decision to increase the controversial 'toilet tax' saying people are 'missing the point'.
Earlier this month Tynwald voted in favour of a six pence rise - it means the rate will be 98 pence in the pound from April.
The decision angered both the public and Tynwald Members with many describing it as a 'stealth tax' - however Howard Quayle has refuted those claims:
