Douglas's new lifeboat is arriving today, and it's the fastest the RNLI station's ever had.
The Trent-class vessel will replace the aging Mersey-type one, which was reaching the end of its service life.
Named the Betty Huntbatch, she's expected to arrive in the capital at 2pm, Saturday, August 9.
The charity is inviting the public to gather at Douglas Inner Harbour, in front of the Little Fish restaurant on North Quay to welcome her.
