The Department of Infrastructure says it wants to put new signs up at its transport headquarters in Douglas after becoming a vehicle dealership.
New plans have been unveiled to put up the signs at Transport HQ at Banks Circus.
In its application, the DOI says Bus Vannin became an approved vehicle dealership in 2020 to reduce the costs of parts and warranty.
But part of the dealership agreement means it needs to install standard signage at the commercial offices.
