Public Health Isle of Man has got a new director.
Dr Matt Tyrer joins the team from Cheshire East Council where he was a public health director for five years.
Dr Tyrer is also an honorary lecturer in public health at Keele University.
He says he wants to bring his passion for improving health and wellbeing to this spectacular and unique island community.
