New Children's University will engage children

A Children’s University has been launched on the Isle of Man to help children broaden their horizons, build their confidence and learn new things.

The initiative, which has operated in the British Isles since 2007, will be rolled out in 24 schools to children aged between five and 14.  

Children will be able to purchase a learning passport which is stamped for every hour of extra-curricular activity they take part in outside of the normal school day.  Their achievements will then be celebrated at a special graduation ceremony.
