A new charity on the Island aims to prevent suicide and intervene when people reach out for help.
Isle Stand Up To Suicide was launched earlier this month, and offers a free phone helpline, as well as the opportunity for the wider community to train in suicide prevention techniques.
It can also offer short term counselling over the phone for those unable to wait for a referral within the health service.
