Students who choose a healthy way to travel to school in south of the Island may soon get new facilities.
The Department of Infrastructure has applied for planning permission to build a new bike shelter at Castle Rushen High School.
In its application the department says the compound would provide space for up to 20 bikes and a storage locker for helmets.
Similar plans have been put forward for other schools in recent months.
