Oliver Helfrich has been appointed as the Island's attorney general.
The government's announced it's found a new person to take the role of its top lawyer.
It follows the announcement early this year Walter Wannenburgh is retiring after four years in the position.
Mr Helfrich will be officially be sworn in to the role in January 2027.
