The Isle of Man ship registry has launched a new mobile app for sailors on Manx-flagged vessels.
Crew Matters has been set up by Liverpool-based Tapiit Live and will be available to around 10,000 crew members on 400 ships.
It will help seafarers access documentation and information from the register, as well as help improve welfare conditions.
The new app will also let crew members access a live helpline from the International Seafarers’ Welfare & Assistance Network charity.
