Plans have been submitted to create more apartment and office space in the heart of Douglas.
An application has been lodged to convert office space on 21-23 Castle Street above Curphey's to create up to 12 contained, self-serviced apartments which could be for short term business use or tourists visiting the Island.
Those behind the proposals say whilst it would bring back use to an existing structure it could also help with footfall in the town centre.
They add town-based tourism facilities and transport links are within a short walking distance.
