Commissioners in Braddan are hoping to build 26 new flats in Snugborough.
The board has applied for planning permission to build four new blocks of apartments on land at Snugborough Farm on Cronk Gennal.
Its proposals would see 26 new two-bedroomed flats built as well as six one-bedroomed properties.
The plans would see a new access road and parking built, and around 48 trees would be removed.
