Nearly 3,000 residents are now currently self-isolating.
Health and Social Care Minister, David Ashford MHK, stated as of this afternoon 2,843 are currently in quarantine.
Meanwhile, Director of Public Health, Dr Henrietta Ewart, says 1,417 are known direct contacts of cases.
The others are in households or are returning travellers.
