Navy ships here as part of honour guard tradition

Two Royal Navy warships are in Manx waters this weekend to mark Tynwald Day.

HMS Somerset is anchored in Douglas Bay with HMS Brocklesby berthed alongside Victoria Pier.

HMS Brocklesby will be open to the public from 11am to 5pm throughout the weekend.

Clerk of Tynwald Roger Phillips explained the annual honour guard tradition for the national day celebrations:
