A nationalist organisation says a proposed new health tax from the government is fundamentally flawed and will unfairly burden those on lower incomes.
The Celtic League took to Facebook to blast the two per cent NHS levy being considered by government after a consultation ended last month.
In it post, the organisation described it as a regressive move which targets those already struggling with rising living costs and stagnant wages.
And it accused the government of failing to confront its own financial mismanagement, saying significant waste in infrastructure projects could have been used to fund healthcare.
