The Island will fall silent this weekend to remember the sacrifices made by those who have served in the armed forces.
The nation will observe a two minute silence at 11am tomorrow, and again on Sunday, with wreaths and poppies laid at war memorials across the Island.
There will be a National Service of Remembrance at the Royal Chapel in St John's at 3pm on Sunday, attended by veterans and representatives of the armed forces.
This will be followed by a gathering at the National War Memorial at 4pm.
