A museum in the south of the Island has been given planning permission to put up a statue in tribute to aviators who've lost their lives flying from the Island.
The Manx Aviation and Military Museum next door to Ronaldsway Airport had applied for permission for the 2.4-metre bronze sculpture called the Angel of Ronaldsway in its grounds.
As well as approving the monument, planners have also given the green light to install part of an aircraft fuselage as a new attraction for visitors.
The British Aerospace ATP will be open to sightseers.
