Ballasalla could be getting a monument to flyers and aviators who never made it home again.
The Manx Military And Aviation Museum at Ronaldsway has applied for planning permission to put up a bronze sculpture memorial.
In its application, the facility says it would be called the Angel of Ronaldsway.
It says the sculpture, just over six feet high, would commemorate the lives of those who left the Island's airfields never to be seen again.
