Murder Trial: Police say justice has been done

The Chief Inspector of the Isle of Man Constabulary says justice has been served after a Castletown man was convicted or murder.

Yesterday, the jury found 46-year-old Ian Anderson guilty of murdering Neil Roberts. 
 
The 60-year-old, who was from Ballabeg, was found at Anderson's home address on Queen Street on December 1st 2013. 
 
Police described it as an "extraordinarily violent act" by an individual who "consistently tried to remove himself from any responsibility for his actions". 
 
Anderson is due to be sentenced on Friday, April 24th - chief inspector Phil Shimmin says credit must go to Mr Roberts' family:
