A mum's appealed on Facebook for parents to talk to their children after her son was attacked as he played football.
The woman, who posted to a parents' group on Facebook, says her 10-year-old boy was playing at the Bowl yesterday evening.
He was pinned against a fence, punched and grabbed by the throat by other children who she says weren't accompanied by parents.
She's now asking other mums to talk to their youngsters about violence and bullying.
