A Douglas mum says she's been left 'fuming' after her son suffered a head injury during a violent incident in school.
Hayley Teare posted a photo to Twitter at the weekend of a letter from Manor Park school saying her son had suffered a blow to the head after three chairs were thrown at him.
Hayley says it's not the first time her son has been subjected to violence in school, claiming little is being done to prevent bullying.
She added she doesn't think the classroom is a safe place, violence is being normalised and children desensitized.
3x chairs thrown at him in the classroom today. 1 hit his head and 1 cut his arm. I'm sorry but is this happening in your kids classrooms or just mine?? Sick of it now hence the public post... pic.twitter.com/ALWGzvTufk
