The Manx SPCA says four ducklings have been left orphaned after a motorist killed their mother.
In a post on social media, the charity says the incident happened in Douglas yesterday.
The MSPCA says a car failed to even attempt to slow down for the mum and her ducklings crossing the road.
The charity described it as a ‘very upsetting incident’ and have now taken the ducklings under their wing to care for them.
