A UK MP says he's working hard to bring back ferry services linking the isle of Man to Whitehaven.
Josh MacAlister, who represents Whitehaven and Workington, was speaking as the town's council began putting forward regeneration plans.
He says over the last nine months he's been working to try to regenerate the area.
And he says one of his priorities is to establish travel links between Whitehaven and the Island.
