Dandara and Hartford Homes are backing a new scheme to help people get onto the property ladder, without needing a traditional deposit upfront.
The initiative comes as the average house price on the Island reached £393,735, leaving many people struggling to save for a deposit despite having a good income.
Own Homes founder Chris Lee says people need a realistic route to homeownership if they want to build careers and raise families here.
The rent-to-buy scheme will be available on selected properties across the developers' major Island developments.
Pre-registration is now open, ahead of applications launching in early November.
