The Department of Infrastructure says the Mountain Road will stay shut for the rest of today.
The route closed earlier this week because of snow and ice as temperatures plummeted.
The department says it's looked at conditions today, and the road will stay closed until at least midday tomorrow.
Workers will reassess the route at 9am on Saturday, November 22.
Earlier today, the Victory Cafe on Snaefell shared a photo of the snow, saying it wouldn't be open today.
