The Department of Infrastructure says the Mountain Road will remain shut until tomorrow.
Snow and icy conditions closed the route earlier this week.
Workers inspected the route this morning and say it'll stay shut from Barrule Park in Ramsey to Creg Ny Baa until midday on Thursday, January 8.
It'll be inspected again tomorrow morning.
