The Department of Infrastructure says the Mountain road won't reopen today.
It closed the route early this morning because of snow and ice.
On Facebook, the DOI says it's now assessed conditions and while some areas are snow-free, others are extremely slippery.
As a result, the road will be shut from the Creg Ny Baa to the Ramsey Hairpin until 10am on Saturday, February 7.
