The Department of Infrastructure says emergency repairs on the Mountain Road means it’ll be shut until Sunday.
Yesterday, the department said it needed the road closure between the Hairpin and the Bungalow because of a collapsed culvert.
It had been [planed to reopen the road today, but in a post on Facebook the department says it needs more time.
The road will now remain closed until 6 pm on Sunday.
