The emergency services control room say that the Mountain Road has re-opened today, however it is just passable with care.
It was closed at about 16:00Hrs on Friday due to a collision and the icy conditions.
There is, again, lots of black ice on the Island's roads today, motorists are urged to take extreme care.
Earlier this morning, there was a collision in the Greeba area and there are reports of black ice on the bridge near Rushen Abbey.
