The Department of Infrastructure says part of the Mountain Road will reopen for the weekend.
The southern section from the Creg ny Baa to the bungalow will open at 4pm today - motorists will be able to drive to Michael, Ballaugh and Sulby via the Beinn Y Phott and Tholt Y Will roads.
It's due to close again from 9.30am on Monday, April 13 as work continues to prepare the route for this year's TT festival.
But the DOI says the stretch of road from Ramsey to the Bungalow will stay shut.
