The Department of Infrastructure has reopened the Mountain Road, exactly when it said it would.
The route had been shut while DOI workers made sure it was ready for this year's festival but heavy rain slowed progress.
Yesterday, the department warned the full length wouldn't be open until Saturday afternoon after the stretch from Ramsey to the Bungalow reopened.
And just 20 minutes into this afternoon, it announced the whole route was open to traffic again.
