A section of the Mountain Road will be shut during the day today.
The highway between Tholt-Y-Will and Ballacottier Junction at Hillberry will be closed between 9.15am and 4pm.
The Department of Infrastructure says this is whilst emergency carriageway repairs are carried out.
Highways services says a number of potholes and defects have appeared in the road surfaces there because of the recent wet and cold conditions.
