The Department of Infrastructure says the Mountain Road will remain open today.
A road closure had been planned from 9.30am until around 8pm tonight.
It's to allow workers to collect roadracing equipment after the TT and Manx Grand Prix.
Poor weather means the closure - from Ramsey to the Bungalow - will now take place tomorrow.
