The Department of Infrastructure says the Mountain Road will remain closed for the rest of today.
An emergency road closure means it'll stay shut from the Ramsey Hairpin to the Creg-ny-Baa, and the Tholt Y Will Road will also be closed.
Police shut the route earlier today after snowfall overnight.
The DOI says the road closure will run through until at least midday tomorrow.
