The Mountain Road is to remain shut until Sunday as the Department of Infrastructure carries out emergency roadworks.
The route was due to reopen one-way for the TT festival on Friday, but the DOI says it found problems with water at Brandywell.
Today, the department says the road will be closed from Ramsey to the Creg ny Baa while it carries out work.
It’s due to open again at midday on Sunday.
