Brandywell and Tholt e Will Roads are closed as well as the Mountain road.
The mountain road remains closed this morning.
It was closed off at about half three yesterday afternoon,
Initially it was thought to be down to the weather but it has seen been reported that there were a number of collisions up there.
At least three separate crashes were reported, one involving a number of vehicles.
There was a downpour of snow which reduced visibility.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were on the scene for some time. The weather conditions dipped to below freezing over night so some of the Islands roads are icy.
It is very slippy around Ballasalla Richmond Hill and Ballafletcher Roads.
There was a incident just before 6AM this morning just outside the airport.
Brandywell and Tholt e Will Roads are closed as well as the Mountain road. The mountain road is expected to open at 11AM. Reduced visibility yesterday meant that emergency services are only able to remove the vehicles involved now.
The emergency control room are advising motorists to drive with caution.
