The Mountain Road is closed between The Bungalow and the Creg Na Baa.
Officers are dealing with two crashes which happened in quick succession.
One at Windy Corner and another at the 33rd Milestone.
It is believed the collisions were caused by black ice.
Police ask drivers to avoid the area at this time.
