Locals have been praised for opening up their homes to visitors over the TT fortnight.
Many people have offered help to bikers left soaked by rain and stranded after ferry cancellations.
Rob Callister, member of the Department of Economic Development with responsibility for motorsport, says it's shown the strength of the Manx community.
