Motorists urged to drive with caution after snow

Police are warning motorists not to drive on roads that have been closed due to bad weather.

They say it's dangerous and drivers will be committing offences including having no insurance.

Officers had to close the Mountain Road last night after two accidents in hazardous weather - it is currently in the process of being re-opened.

People have been asked to drive with extra care today as there is the risk of icy stretches on some roads especially over higher ground or in sheltered spots.
