Motorists have been urged to take extra care on the Island's roads today due to the poor weather.
A number of roads around the Island will be closed because of the expected storm surges and subsequent flooding.
People have been told to park their vehicles away from promenades and harbours to avoid possible damage from flying debris and flood waters.
However drivers have been told to plan their journeys, drive to the conditions and take heed of road closures.
